·         Won netball schools championship – increasing confidence.

·         Won the football league cup for the first time – increasing confidence

·         Won all athletic cups/shields for the third year – increasing confidence

Impact of premium use

Impact on pupils’ participation:

 

·         Due to the premium all children are able to engage with sporting activities in school with 1 in 4 children taking part in an out of school competitive event.

 

Impact on pupils’ attainment:

 

·         Attainment in all year groups continues to be significantly higher than national average.

How the premium has allowed pupils to develop active lifestyles:

 

·         The Premium has allowed children to experience a wide range of sports both competitively and experientially in and out of school.

 

·         It enables children to experience the joys of winning and provides opportunities to develop resilience skills when children have lost.

 

How the school will sustain the improvements:

 

·         The school has developed a ‘winning’ culture over the last three years

·         It will continue to invest in the additional lunchtime sports support, Barnet School Sports Alliance and PE leader support time

·         The school will re-fresh the netball line markings Summer 2016 to sustain its capacity to host netball matches
